Hi Trainers, here’s some big news! Two cool announcements the same day. What is going on?!
We are tweaking the last details of our website, especially the gamified version of the website, and we were thinking about something.
But before talking about it, let me give you some context.
On our gamified website, you will be able to explore the “city” as you did in classic Pokemon games.
It means you can explore the place. For example, you can go to the bank and talk with the Banker or the Investor to manage your EVO tokens. You can go to the real estate building and speak with the property agents selling the different places…
But at the same time, you can just walk around, talking with different NPCs, discovering hidden easter eggs, and learning more about the EvoVerses story.
Oh, and we will be able to update and expand this continuously, so more places to visit, more NPCs, more secrets!
By the way, for those worried about this not being comfortable, you will also have a “quick travel menu”, where you can instantly open the services you want to use, instead of having to move your character there.
Players?!
But probably the most remarkable thing is you will see other website users. Of course, it won’t be a multiplayer site since it won’t be real-time, but a little delayed and with interpolated movement but… you will see more people there!
Let’s say, for example, you are exploring the city, and your friend is also connected to the website but going to the Banker NPC. So you might see his character there, standing; meanwhile, he interacts with the Banker.
That way, you will feel the website way more alive since you will see players here and there exploring and interacting with the NPCs.
More functions
We also plan to expand this gamified website, with more zones to explore and a better “multiplayer” system, including features like a text chat or even some minigames players can play together!

Avatars
Now we have talked about this; we can talk about the topic of this article. We will allow you to use the website without registering or doing anything.
But if you want to look better and be recognized by other players when they see you in the DEX (or in the leaderboards), you will be able to.
The team decided to add a collectible NFT, which can be used in your EVO DEX profile. These NFTs are for vanity purposes only (flex it hard) and will only be available for public minting around the end of Q2-Q3-Q4 of the roadmap. The total supply is 6000 Avatar NFT. In addition, 1000 Avatar NFT will be pre-minted for marketing purposes (giveaways, contest rewards, etc…). To reiterate with emphasis, for Q1 and part of Q2, these NFTs can only be obtained through winning giveaways and community contests!
Also, this is not your in-game character; this is just an avatar you can use in the DEX. Hence, everyone recognizes you, and it will be your profile image inside things like leaderboards for the PvP mode or trades (in the Evo and properties marketplace).
2D?
Here you have a sample of how they will look. Well, they will be dressed (I didn’t want to reveal them here), and they will be fully animated to work on our gamified website (or if anyone wants to create a project supporting those NFTs, the NFT will contain the sprite sheets necessary to run the character with all their animations!).
“I thought this project would have the game in 3D!? Why is it in pixel art!? Dev, please fix!!”
Hold your horses, cowboy. The actual game will be 3D; the EVO NFTs and other characters will be 3D! The Avatar is in pixel art style to get an old-school pokemon-like vibe in the gamified website!
“Why create another NFT?”
It was initially planned not to be an NFT, but since we all know that you guys want to have the exclusive feeling of having a cool NFT, why not? We, humans, love flexing.
“What are the rarities?”
“How will the Marketing team distribute the rewards based on rarity?”
The marketing team will create a new unique role, “Airdrop”, this role will be given to the winners of upcoming contests. It will be eligible for a Mystery Box Airdrop once the Avatar feature in the website launches. Airdrops vary depending on the role given to the winner. Events and Giveaways will be classified as Tier 1 (T1), Tier 2 (T2), and Tier 3 (T3).
Note: The Legendary Mystery Box can only be obtained randomly on the Public Minting.

So, in summary, you will be able to see and interact with other players on our gamified website. You can flex and show how unique you look on the website and also in every place inside the game where your profile image is displayed (like in trades, in the PvP battle, or the marketplace), you can set your NFT Avatar, and finally, right now, the only way to get them is through our giveaways/contests and later on in the minting event.
